A Sense of Place, April 2011--Photos from the opening of Robin's show at Circling the Square Fine Art Press

These are some of the "Woods" prints I made at the Press during my Fellowship year.

It's great to have the support of my family in my artistic ventures!

I had to give an artist talk...

Robin and Nancy

Nancy and I met in Portsmouth, N.H. on a balmy October Saturday morning to renew our friendship.  Taking a walk with her down by the river felt like old times when we were roommates in South County, Rhode Island during my Narragansett Elementary teaching days.

Ben photos

Ben with Tabitha, the hefty girl.
Here is another image of Ben with Tab.  Notice how she drapes her front legs over his arm...That's classic Tabitha.  We all loved her a lot and miss her still...

From Ben's 14th birthday celebration.  We feasted on take-out from our favorite Indian restaurant.
Here is Jon playing his famous "air guitar" licks to the tune of "Happy Birthday" (a la Hendrix...)
This one needs no description.  Our friend David Mann (pictured in the background) and his wife Marsha Crouse (off camera) were our honored guests along with Nana Shay (also off camera.)
